Aloe Polyphylla Spiral Aloe is a compact evergreen succulent valued for its foliage arranged in a perfect spiral pattern. At first it seems like a fairly typical Aloe plant, but the fleshy grey-green leaves form a tight rosette that becomes a beautiful spiral as the plant ages. The leaves are adorned with white to pale green spines along their edges and a dark, purplish brown terminal spine at their tips. It occasionally flowers in spring and early summer with red to salmon pink tubular blooms on a branching spike.

Great for bordering, rock gardens, slopes and succulent gardens, can also be used in decorative containers.

Grows well in gravelly, well drained soils and is suitable for full sun exposure or partial shade. This plant is drought tolerant, water moderately when in growth and sparingly when dormant. Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser 2 or 3 times during growing season.
